Sacred Games is first Indian web television series on Netflix, Erik Barmack vice president of International Originals at Netflix and one of the producer of this webTV series, said that they did not expect this kind of tremendous response from India specially. So according to news coming Sacred Games Season 2 will be started in September 2018 and may release in 2019. Sacred Games first series was released in July 2018, so like this we can anticipate that Netflix will release one series every year.
Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chandra’s famous novel “Sacred Games” that is approximately 1,000 page novel. And if we follow the novel, according to that Sacred Games would have 4 series in total. But Netflix has not yet decided to make all 4 series. Erik Barmack vice president of International Originals at Netflix said that they have already decided to start second series shooting in September but response on second series will decide future series.
In Sacred Games season 2 Bunty, the right hand man of Ganesh Gaitonde will return and Saif Ali khan police officer Sartaj Singh would see more flash backs in season 2. It is also reported that in season 2, producer Vikramaditya Motwane may bring new director specially for this series, Cause he wants to experiments some new ideas while shooting various scenes. However it will be challenge for creators of this series, because now audience would like to see some more thrill and good turn of events.
In Sacred Games Season 2 Guriji played by Actor Pankaj Tripathi bail out Ganesh Gaitonde “Nawazuddin Siddiqui”. So terror of Ganesh Gaitonde will be seen again in series 2, with flash back memories. it is reported that villain of second season will be Guriji.
It is also true that Sacred Games first season faced few petitions to remove few scenes, moreover this series got few dialogues that troubled one political party in India. Let us see how the season 2 goes ?
