Taking a dig at the Congress-led UPA government over the issue of corruption, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that these days people wonder who is going to be the next leader of the ruling alliance to face arrest on graft charges.

Speaking at the 54th annual technical convention of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) here, the BJP stalwart said “corruption ne pure desh ko pareshan kar ke rakha hai, (corruption has disturbed the entire nation).”

Modi said in an environment where corruption rules the roost, technology can play a significant role for bringing transparency in the system.
